"About five years ago, I started suffering from a number of autoimmune disorders - a sudden gluten intolerance, solar urticaria - I was literally allergic to sunlight! 

Western medicine had no answers. I turned to alternative remedies - juice cleanses, kambo. They didn’t help, either. Then, a dear friend sent me an Ayurveda quiz to determine my dosha. After about a year of sticking to a diet that balanced my doshas, my autoimmune conditions disappeared. I could enjoy croissants and hikes again. But far more valuable, I felt like I had control over my well-being again.
